UMi crowns Young Achiever of the Year

In honour of the Institute of Supply Chain Management’s Chairman, the Philip Chaganis OBE Award is bestowed upon the Young Achiever of the Year.  Philip was an influential, founding father of the institute with a passion for supporting and advancing opportunities amongst young people. The winner of this award receives a bursary to support their further education within the industry.

Following the loss of Philip in 2018 we are delighted that his son, Howard Chaganis, was able to attend the 2023 Awards to present the trophy, alongside the award sponsor UMi, to Alfie Owen.

Having completed his Level 3 Diploma in 2022 Alfie immediately progressed to the IoSCM Level 6 Diploma in Supply Chain and Operations Strategy. Alfie's career focus, extraordinary commitment, and ability to apply his new knowledge to his role set him apart for this award. Alfie’s future in the supply chain industry looks extremely bright and we look forward to supporting him.
