Tees Valley Business Summit 2024 brings together hundreds of local businesses in Teesside
The largest business showcase and conference event in the Tees Valley returned for its thirteenth year. With over 700 attendees, it continues to be the go-to event for those looking to do more business in the region.
On the 4th July, Tees Valley Business Summit welcomed businesses to Teesside University, where ambitious companies could meet with new suppliers and potential customers. Delivered by UMi, the event helped hundreds of local businesses capitalise on the growing opportunities in the region.
Over 500 delegates and 99 exhibitors descended on the University’s Olympia Building, eager to drive business engagement, generate leads and get inspired with new insights.
This year’s event hosted nine seminars, in which experts such as Innovation SuperNetwork delved into topics such as how to prepare for and encourage investment, helping delegates to learn new skills that can take their aspirations further. The bustling exhibition space offered a chance for exhibitors to showcase their products, services, and support. There was truly something for everyone, from start-ups to established businesses alike.
UMi Chief Executive, Nicki Clark OBE said: “This event has been all about giving businesses the tools, information, and connections that they need to do more and go further. In one room, on one day, there has been 700 people interacting and learning from one another, lots of providers of business services and products sharing their thoughts and experience through seminars and, really importantly, connecting people with the right information to move forward with their business, as well as the funding and finance to do so.”
