Celebrating 10 years of the B Corp movement

Ten years ago, the first B Corps were certified in the UK. A decade later, this powerful and diverse community of over 2,600 businesses is thriving through placing purpose and profit hand in hand.

That’s why we’re proud to be a certified B Corp and celebrate such a significant milestone.

B Corps across the UK are showing what responsible leadership looks like in practice: measuring what matters, embedding impact into governance, and holding themselves accountable to people and planet.

And yet, this milestone isn’t just about celebrating what’s been achieved — it’s about looking forward and recognising there is so much more still to do. 

At a time of uncertainty, the B Corp movement offers a steadying force: a reminder that business can lead from the front when guided by values, grounded in purpose, and united by shared responsibility.

As we celebrate 10 years of the UK B Corp movement, we’re taking 10 to reflect celebrate, and look ahead with optimism.

To help with this, B Lab UK has launched a 10 year impact report showing how UK B Corps outperform their peers across multiple metrics, whilst having a significant positive impact on people and the planet. 

The report also includes:

• The story of the UK B Corp movement to date and how its influence now goes far beyond the 2,600 UK businesses in the community.
