Apprentice winner to inspire businesses at new Summit organised by UMi

The Summit, organised by UMi, hosts a dedicated Meet the Buyers event, where local suppliers will meet with the procurement teams of 25 major buyers looking to place lucrative contracts with businesses in the region.

This November, the East London Business Summit hosted by London City Airport, will welcome the first ever winner of the BBC show, The Apprentice, Tim Campbell MBE, to its line-up of top speakers.  

Taking place at the prestigious London Stadium on the 30th of November, the Summit is set to welcome over 400 delegates, including East London business owners, senior decision makers, partners of London City Airport and key regional stakeholders.

The Summit hosts a dedicated Meet the Buyers event, where local suppliers will meet with the procurement teams of 25 major buyers looking to place lucrative contracts with businesses in the region.

Since its creation, the East London Business Summit has welcomed huge success. Between 2018 and 2019 there were £3.2 million business transactions whilst most recently in 2022, over £5 million worth of contracts were secured.

Winning The Apprentice in 2005 and awarded an MBE for Services to Enterprise Culture in 2012, Tim will share his inspirational story, from growing up in East London to the challenges he faced both professionally and personally. Tim will also share valuable insights into growing a business, including how to raise business profile, seizing new opportunities and navigating the unique challenges faced by East London businesses.

Tim will deliver his keynote speech alongside speakers from the Bank of England and Institute of Sales Professionals.
